Pressure halters

The pressure halter is one of the most useful tools that we have found for ground-work. The one you see my wife Fiona using with Murphy in the pictures was made by me after taking a close look at several products available. It is a length if soft yacht rope with three knots in it, not exactly high tech, but you can pay £30.00 from some natural horsemanship suppliers. Take my tip, make your own, its more satisfying, you will be able to make it to ‘fit’ your horse better, and when it wears out or gets chewed up, it will have only cost you a couple of quid. By the way :never never never tie up your horse using any form of ‘slip halter’ OK?
