Country Life
While I'm on the subject of music give a listen to the brilliant 'Show Of Hands' a ground breaking folk band. This song features some hard hitting lyrics on what living in the country means today. See http://www.showofhands.co.uk/
I was born and raised on the Isle of Wight and played my first paying gig on guitar aged fifteen. I wore a frilly shirt and a lounge jacket and played the St Bernard's Waltz and the Gay Gordons for hollidaying old aged pensioners. after being proporsitioned by several grannies, rock music seemed a safer option.
Now I live in East London, play music, write, take photographs and wind pickups ... and get paid for most of the afore mentioned!
