Together
“Where shall we go today?”
She asks, walking with urgent nod.
I reply with hand and leg “where my spirit can be as free as yours”.
“What will we do today?”
She asks: breathless canter eating blurred green beneath her feet.
“Just be,” I answer.
All the miles of the ride, you and me: we will go together.
And when you are too old to fly free, we will still dream together.
Then you will ask: “what shall we do today?”
And I will answer: “lets just be… together”.
